This site participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click a product link here and buy something on Amazon, I earn a small commission. That commission comes from Amazon's margin — it does not change the price you pay. You pay the same amount whether you arrive through this site or go to Amazon directly.

How commissions affect my recommendations

They don't. My commission rate through Amazon Associates is the same regardless of which product you buy, so I have no financial reason to push you toward an expensive set over a cheaper one. I recommend products based on hands-on testing.

If a budget set outperforms a premium one, that's what I'll tell you.

Editorial independence

No brand pays for placement, positive coverage, or inclusion in buying guides. Affiliate relationships do not affect what gets reviewed or how I evaluate it.

How I acquire products for review

I buy products myself at standard retail prices. Every set currently reviewed on this site was purchased with my own money from a standard retailer, with no manufacturer involvement.

If I ever receive a product at no cost for review, I'll say so in that review. A free product does not guarantee a positive review.
